How to charge your EV

Find your Station
Find a charging station for your desired location. You can do this on our interactive map or directly on our app.
Filters will allow you to only see the charging stations that are right for your electric car.
If you are part of our Explorer community, you can enable to see all the partner roaming station and widen your network. This can be done by checking the roaming box on your browser, or checking it through the filter settings (⚙) on your app.
Connect your EV
Insert the right connector for your EV into your EV’s charge port. Some cars will have an indicator that lights up and confirms that the charger has been successfully connected.
Info: Please keep in mind that many cars lock the connector for your safety. Please check your vehicles manual to understand how to unlock the connector.
Starting and ending your charging session
To start your charging session, you can choose between RFID card, app or using our Scan, Pay & Charge (QR Code) options. Follow the steps below to start and end your sessions with each of the options.
RFID Card
- Hold your evpass RFID card or the indicated area on the charging station. It will be labelled RFID or show an RFID icon.
- Your EV will charge until to your car's set capacity is reached and stop.
- If you wish to end your charging before the end its session, this can be done by holding your RFID card against the RFID card reader until you see a confirmation on the screen that the charging session has been stopped.
- Remove the connector from your car and you are ready to continue your journey.
App
- You can also start your charging session through our app. Enter the charging station you wish to use and scroll down to the plugs. Click on “Charge” next to the one you have connected to your car.
- Your EV will charge until to your car's set capacity is reached and stop.
- If you wish to stop the session before, you can access your charging session inside our app by clicking on the active charging session inside the left-side Menu. From there, click "Stop".
- Remove the connector from your car and you are ready to continue your journey.
Scan, Pay & Charge (QR)
- For anyone without an account, you can use our Scan, Pay & Charge feature. Simply scan the indicated QR code using your smartphone and choose your preferred payment method.
- If you are charging using Scan, Pay & Charge, the session can be stopped only through the open browser page.
- Remove the connector from your car and you are ready to continue your journey.
